Feather Soft Denim Skirt

Love love love this skirt. Light & airy…not stiff or heavy. Perfect for the spring/summer season👍👍👍. This is a must buy imo. Only thing is….if you’re in between sizes, it maybe difficult to order one size. Bought Medium in-store, really wanted the large. For reference I’m a 38” waist/43” hip. Medium was a little snug around the waist, but everything else was perfect. Large (which I’m keeping btw) is a bit loser in the waist & overall a lot more comfortable. Put it this way, if the large was sold out everywhere/online, I’d keep the medium, but would be careful how I was it….cold & no dryer. The large is going to work for me cause if I happen to wash it in warm/hot water & then dry, it’ll be perfect👍.

Purchased an XXL and an XL in the same colour planning to return one because I really wanted this skirt to work out. I fall right in the middle on the size chart and other reviews say “runs large”. Oh boy. It’s like they’re not even the same garment. The XXL is comically large and the fabric is heavy and rough. The XL is way too small and the fabric is lighter and thinner. My conclusion: the size chart is inaccurate, the pattern is really poorly graded for plus sizes, and the quality is inconsistent. Big let down.

I love this skirt but finding the right size was a little tough. The first time I ordered both a L and a XL. The L was a bit tight but the XL was huge, maybe 7 or 8 inches larger around the waist than the L. I found the difference between the 2 sizes a bit weird so I tried again and ordered another set of L and XL. This time the L fit perfectly and the XL was only 3 inches bigger. Not sure what’s going on with H&M’s sizing but I’m glad I didn’t give up on this skirt, it’s very comfortable and flattering.

The denim is super soft and the wash for summer is perfect. It is long, right to my ankles but since it’s a raw hem, very easy to measure and cut to my ideal length. I personally am taking off 5 inches, I am 5’4”. The XS is fitted through the waist and bum which gives it a good balance with the flair. I bought the S in the darker denim but it was too big, not sure the S in light denim would be the same but kept the XS due to denim, stretching. I am normally a small. Great summer skirt.

This is a very nice skirt and a great fit. I'm 5'2, 125lbs and I usually wear a size 6 in H&M. I got a size XS on this skirt and it fits perfectly. The material is very soft which makes it fall nicely. The length is perfect for me. I didn't notice that the black doesn't have a seam at the bottom. I wish it did, like the dark blue one does.

The skirt itself is soft and lightweight but the fit is off. I am a size 14 so I ordered a large and xl. The xl was so big it was falling down. The large zipped but was too small. The other review saying it there’s almost no difference between the large/medium makes sense as I’m normally a large but it def fit like a medium.

Very nice skirt. String belt is a nice detail, colour is good, material very comfy and it is very long, which I like. However, it fits too tight. There is almost no difference between medium and large (I ordered both because I suspected it to run small in the waist) and because the waist band is snug, the skirt rides up.

Love this skirt so much. I usually wear M-L and have a thin waist/strong hips. The difference between the M and Large is almost unremarkable, but the large is more comfy. For a hourglass silhouette, this style is not oversized at all, but so so so flattering. Hope that H&M will keep this skirt pattern in the future…

Love the soft stretchy fabric , has a nice length to it just above the ankle, Im 5'5. The sizing on this skirt is way off, order 1 size down. There's quite a bit of fraying along the hemline, which in my opinion will need to be cut off especially after washing, I love the back slit over a front slit.

I love the softness and stretch in the fabric, the size small (29 inch waist) fits me perfectly however, I originally ordered the medium which according to the website chart should have fit my measurements. The sizing on this skirt is way off. When ordering definitely go down one size.
