One thing is that it should have a snug fit, but this is plainly a whole size smaller. The cotton is of a great quality, and very soft, that’s why it’s so frustrating that the size is too small.

I sized up because my son is tall for his age (5) and these were too small. Also one of the legs was longer than the other. Not the same quality I've come to expect with other clothing purchased. Returned these.

This is super tiny. It is not true to size. I bought two years larger but is still so tight and small on my boy.
