The H&M Membership is a digital loyalty programme where you collect points with every purchase, both in store and online. When collecting points, you unlock special offers, rewards, exclusive event invitations and much more.

You will find all your digital receipts from store and online purchases in your membership account. Our membership is free to join, but you must be 18 years to become a member or 16 with consent from your parents or legal guardian.

Your membership ID can be found on your account page. You can also create an alternative ID to use when purchasing in store. Simply ask the cashier at your nearest H&M store to create one for you.

All your purchases in-store and online are rewarded with points. To collect points in store, always remember to scan your membership ID via the H&M app. You can also earn points by completing your profile, earning you 20 points, by recycling your garments earning you 20 points, by bringing your own bag when you shop in-store earning you 3 points, and by inviting your friends to become members you'll earn 50 points for every new member that completes their first purchase. Your points will be displayed on your membership account which can take up to 24 hours to update.

You can invite as many friends as you like to become members. Every time a new friend signs up via your invite and makes  their first purchase, you'll earn 50 membership points. The invitation link can be found on your member account page  online or in the H&M app. Please note that you can only invite friends that reside in the same country as you. 

You will find your latest offers and rewards on your account page in the H&M app or on hm.com. Please note that once you redeemed a discount or reward, it cannot be returned or reused. If you return an item, the points you earned from that item will be deducted from your points balance.

H&M Club is now H&M Membership and includes more benefits, more ways to collect points, and two membership tiers.

Please note that when activating your reward in store, a 15 minutes count down will start and the Bonus Voucher must be redeemed before the countdown ends. The Bonus Voucher amount is distributed evenly across each item of your purchase and not on the total amount. This means that when you return one or more items, you will be given a refund for the amount you paid for each individual item you are returning.

Bonus Vouchers will not be refunded / reissued if you make a return or exchange. The Bonus Voucher amount is distributed evenly across each item of your purchase, so if you return one or more items, you will be given a refund for the amount that you paid for each item. Exchanges are available in store only, where you will be given an exchange for an item of the same value to the one you are returning.

Bonus Vouchers will appear on your My Account page 30 days after you reached enough points. A maximum of 5 Bonus Vouchers can be earned each month, and a maximum of 20 Bonus Vouchers can be earned per year.

Bonus Vouchers must be used within 6 months and the expiry date can be found below on each voucher on your My Account page in the H&M app or hm.com.

Your membership points are valid for 12 months from the start date of your membership year. The start date can be found on your membership card. At the end of each membership year, all points will be reset, and a new membership year starts.

Your membership level will be upgraded to the Plus level once you reach 300 points.

Once you unlock the Plus level, you will keep the Plus member status for the remainder of the current membership year as well as the entire membership year that follows. Your Plus membership expires only if you collect less than 300 points within one full membership year.

If you were unable to register your membership points during one of your recent purchases, simply bring in your receipt to any of our stores in the UK and our store team can assist you in having your points post-registered. Alternatively, points can also be post-registered by contacting our customer service team.

You collect one point for every £1 you spend.

Once you create your account at hm.com or via the H&M App, the Welcome Offer will appear in your membership account under My Account. This can take up to 24 hours. If you haven't received it by then, please contact our Customer Service team.

You don't need the H&M app to become an H&M Member as you can also create your account at hm.com. When shopping in store, some membership features are only accessible via the H&M app.

When shopping online
Select Pay later as your payment option at checkout. Using Pay later online will automatically activate Pay later for use in store.

When shopping in-store
If you've used Pay later online before and have the latest version of the H&M app, you are all set to use Pay later in store. Just show the cashier your QR-code. As soon as it's scanned, the purchase is registered.

If you've not used it online before, make sure that your H&M app is updated. Activate Pay later easily under My Account, where you find your member QR-code. 

You can always check if Pay later is activated under My Account, by clicking on your member QR-code.

You’ll earn 20 points for completing your profile.

You'll get 1 points for each item you rate. Your points will be updated 24h after your rating has been published. 

You can only rate your most recent online purchase, and products can only be rated once. You can rate up to 10 products a month. All feedback is welcome, but your review should be based on the product and help other customers make an informed decision on that item. We may decide not to publish your review if we feel it doesn’t meet certain criteria.

Alternative member IDs are ways for our members to identify themselves in-store without having to use our app. Add your alternative member ID by going into My account -> Settings -> Alternative member Ids
