Mom Slim Fit High Waist Ankle Jeans

The slim mom high ankle are my most favourite jeans of all time (even surpassing my 2000s favourite Topshop, Jamie, skinny fit jeans). I'm 5'5", weigh 10.3, with a bit of a mum tum, slimmer waist, big bum and hips, chunky thighs, and shortish, dumpy legs, and these fit like they were made for me. Usually a size 12 at H&M (can get away with smaller sizes elsewhere, but consistently a H&M 12), and these fit perfectly. Perfect fit to the waist, pull in my belly a little, skim over bum and thighs, don't cling at calves and sit just above my ankle, so look great with sandals or slip on pumps. I've purchased multiple colours in this style and although the material can vary, I've found the sizing to be fairly consistent. I have, however, noticed that a pair of jeans that can initially feel a little tight, loosen up over an hour or so wear - a bit like wearing jeans out of the wash that have shrunk before you squeeze em back on. These are a softer denim than others in the range. I like the pale blue and they are maybe a little lighter in shade than I had imagined. For the price, these jeans are great quality. Perfect for curvy bodies.

Everyone in here says to size up. In my opinion, don't. I am usually between 4-6 depending on the brand. I bought 6 as the reviews recommended and nope, far far too big everywhere. If you are more petite or on the smaller side of the size range then definitely size down. I am going to reorder in size 4 and will update. Also, the length depends on your height (obviously). Also, it was not really ankle length as it was a bit long, but you can always roll it up or get it shortened, then it looks good. Not the fault of the jeans though, I'm just simply short. The fabric is great and very comfortable though! I just hope size 4 will fit well :) For reference, I'm 1.60 and 45 kg.

I am a U.K. size 12/14 with a 32.5” waist and have been disappointed by the inaccurate sizing of these jeans. Having ordered a size 14, which I couldn’t get over my thighs, I ordered a size 16 to replace and although I can get them on, they still aren’t big enough, way too tight on the waist. I think I would need a size 18, maybe 20. There is no stretch in these jeans and they are not consistent with the measurements on H&M’s size guide. Bitterly disappointed. I really wanted them to fit as the style, length and colour is exactly what I want. I would recommend sizing up at least one or two sizes, especially if you are used to wearing stretchy jeans like me.

I've had similar jeans to these before and I literally worn them into the ground. Everyone would ask me where I got them from and couldn't believe that they were only H&M and I paid £19.99 for them. They recently split on the bum so I wanted to buy a new pair, and although these aren't the exact ones, they're the closest to. They are a little bit small at the moment but I'm keeping them and they will be my incentive to lose a few pounds. Other than that, they're great! Lovely quality and lovely fit everywhere else. Not too long, they come to just above my ankle and I'm 5.4 😊 I would probably size up for a comfy fit to be honest, otherwise they're perfect!

A little disappointed with the sizing of these, I ordered a size 12 from seeing that you might need to size up and they arrived and were way too big for me (falling off me). I then went into store to see if I could exchange for a size 10, tried them on first and they were way too small, I couldn't do them up. I normally buy a size 10 and even in other shops I'm normally a size 10 too, left me feeling a little disheartened to be honest because they are actually quite a nice pair of jeans and the colour was what I had been looking for. Sizing needs to be looked into and considered.

Genuinely surprised with these. Got a size 6 and was about to return them without having tried on as they looked tiny! But then decided to just see how far they go up and surprised they actually fit. They are a bit on the snug size but already know size 8 will be too big (have a tiny waist with slightly wide hips). They could be a tiny bit looser but overall they look really good on so will be keeping these pair. But I would say maybe size up if u can get away with it as think they’d be a bit more comfy (the material doesn’t look like they’ll give/stretch much).

The size difference in the different colours is massive. I tried the black first, I'm usually 16-18 but went up to a 20 because I read they were a small fit. The black were so nice, they had a tiny bit of stretch but not enough that they would go baggy. I decided to get the denim pair in the same size but when compaired they came up nearly 2 inches smaller around the legs and waist and they had no give whatsoever in the fabric. I could barely fet them past my thighs. They seemed more like a 14-16 than a 20. The inconsistency in the sizing is so disappointing!

Can’t decide whether to keep these. I like the colour (medium blue). I’m a 10/12 with smaller waist and bigger hips, ordered the 12 and I love the fit, they’re quite loose around the hips and thighs but nice fit around the waist, they don’t make your tummy look enormous like most mom jeans! They’re too short on me though - I’m 5’8” and they sit well above my ankles. They would be much more flattering on me if they were a couple of inches longer. Trying to decide whether to keep them for summer as they’re really too short to wear this time of year.

Not sure why I ever think it necessary to purchase high end jeans when you can get ones that are just as good for a fraction of the cost. These fit like a glove as soon as I put them on! I tend to be a 10/12 in high waist jeans at H&M and the 12 fit perfect. They kept their shape really well. Which means I can wear them a couple times before they need washing. Also, I’m 5’7 and these hit right at my ankle. I got The medium blue and they are gorgeous. Just ordered the grey and am waiting for the black to come in stock so I can get them too!
