I previously bought these in a M but they were far to small considering I have many other H&M trousers in a M. I eventually managed to get a L (as I had bought the shirt and so want the co-ord). The L fits me perfectly. The only thing I'd say is the fabric is see through. It's ok if wearing the shirt with it loose as that covers your underwear. But if you weren't or tucked short in then you'd need to wear white underwear or cycling shorts underneath!
