I'm 5'6 ordered size 14 for some length and i didn't want it to sit to high. I wear a 12 at H &M. It was too small definitely not a size 14 and way too short. If you have curves, it doesn't sit right. The pleate in the front is not flattering.

Short skirt in satin featuring a high waist with a concealed zip and hook-and-eye fastener at the back. Inverted box pleat at the front to create a flattering A-line silhouette. Unlined.
