Do not do what I did and ignore the reviews. I ordered both S + M as I'm a size 12 but it states the model was wearing a S so I was torn! Definitely just listen to reviews and order a size down because it'll still give that generously oversized look. It is quite thin and potentially is going to be a pain with creasing but, it's a really nice oversized, maxi trench which was exactly what I was after.

This coat is poorly finished. There are loose threads everywhere and the button holes are not finished properly and will quickly fray. This coat is extremely oversized. I would recommend going one or two sizes smaller. it's a very wrinkly and stiff cotton that doesn't hang very well at all, I had to return it.

I'm between a size 16/18 and ordeeed a medium due to the reviews recommending to size down. I'm glad I did because this guy is perfect. The quality is really good for the price, not flimsy at all. Only con is it arrived wrinkled but that can be fixed. Overall happy with this purchase.

I really love it but the colour is slightly lighter than the photos and I would love it to be as dark as the photos- I still kept it because it really is a nice green and the fit is perfect. (Ordered a size medium for an oversized fit and got exactly what I wanted from the fit)

This item is oversized. I am a size 8 and usually a medium in most coats. The small was huge on me and I ended up returning and ordering an XS. I like the length as I am 5'10" and it hits me just below the knees (lost a little length on the XS). Materials is nice and thick.

Nice trench coat! It's fairly thick, good length for a 5'9" girl. Also I usually wear XS and ordered this in the same size and it's not huge, the coat has a nice oversized fit as it said in the description (loose fit), so for me it's perfect.

What's going on with your sizing, H&M? I'm an XL but read the reviews and sized down to a large and medium. Both absolutely swamped me! Plus, the quality is pretty bad - not lined and the fabric crumples easily. Returning for a refund.

I am 178cm, usually wearing size M. Fallowing review I size down for a S and look like a scarecrow! That trench is horrible! I should trust more the reviews and not buy it! Had two vouchers which I spent for nothing! So disappointed

Highly recommend! It's a timeless and versatile autumn classic to have in your wardrobe. Quality is great. I recommend going down a size as it does run slightly larger. But nevertheless my favourite peice I bought for this autumn.

This is very oversized! I would normally be a size small and I've ordered an XS and this is still quite oversized but very nice, lovely colour (not too green like some other trench coats) and feels like good quality for the price
