Love love love these boots. Was hesitant to purchase as there were no prior reviews but had to make an emergency purchase due to bad turn of the weather. These boots are very solid, fluffy lined all throughout and very secure when on. I think it needs some time to wear them in as they are quite stiff. My toddler has to get used to the thick and grippy soles but she managed to cope well on icy paths regardless. It's hard to tell how far the toes go to the front due to the stiff material, but also speaks for how solidly build they are. My toddlers foot length is 15cm and I bought a size 8. I think a 8 1/2 size would have been better as boots are usually a bit smaller than normal shoes, but it should hopefully last her through the worst of the weather and temperatures. Can't comment on the water proof properties as they haven't been used in rain or deep snow yet.
