Japanese Maple Tree "acer Garnet"

Acer 'Garnet' is one of the many varieties of Japanese maple. Garnet has beautiful red leaves with which you can decorate your garden. This Japanese maple is known for its large, deeply incised leaves and for its sculptural shape. Their branches add a wonderful oriental touch to any garden. Towards spring, the Acer gets bright red leaves and then changes colour to a rich dark red. The variety of colours gives this plant a special appearance and makes it a nice addition to your backyard. A Japanese Maple is not evergreen, which means that it loses its leaves during the winter. However, this plant is very hardy and will sprout again in March with beautiful new leaves.
