Cycas Revoluta

The Cycas Revoluta is also known as the 'King Sago Palm' or 'Sago Palm' and originates from southern Japan. Here this palm can grow up to 5 to 7 metres high. Cycas Revoluta is a very slow grower and takes between 50 and 100 years to reach this height! Cycas actually belongs in the group of palm ferns, not palm trees. The most remarkable thing about Cycas, apart from the fact that it can last a lifetime if cared for properly, is that it existed in the Carboniferous period. Palm fossils indicate that it is one of the oldest palms in the world. The plant is delivered in a inner- pot with a diameter of 15 cm. Decorative pot not included. Product are non-returnable.

Cycas do not need much water. Do not place in direct sunlight. During the winter, water once in 4 to 6 weeks!
