This is a very flattering dress (in a sort of witchy/goth way - which I like!). I don't really wear dresses as I'm so pear shaped. But this skims and flatters in a really nice way - and maybe the sequins distract from the shape of the figure. I'm a size 8-10 on top and 10-12 on the bottom and the S fits well and closely. The fabric is very delicate and the threads holding the sequins very easily catch on other sequins and pull. So I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. I'm 5'5" and it's a mid-calf length on me. I wish it was a longer maxi length as it looks on the model. She must be very tiny! I wish that H&M would give the dimensions of each model. The sleeves come over my hands to about mid-hand. I like that. They don't completely cover the hand as they do on the model - which I think makes the item look just too big.
