It's a miracle, these pants fit my skinny kids! My kid (age 9) who still wears size 5T swim shorts, fits these pants (size 8/9) in the waist. We honestly can't find pants that are long enough for him (average height) but that fit him in the waist (his waist is 21.5"). If you have a skinny kid definitely give these a shot!
