I've bought size 11-12y for the average high, slim 9yo boy and it looks like the length is just right for him. And just because the size is much bigger, the fit is not as slim as expected. I'm going to keep jeans anyway as my boy likes them. I'd recommend checking the size by the kid's hight rather than age.

These weren’t for us as they only just fit my 5ft 3 12 year old, he didn’t find them comfortable and as he keeps shooting up they wouldn’t have been worth buying. I’ve still rated 5 stars as they’re well made, the fabric feels reasonably heavy and they look good.

I recently bought in size 13-14 for my 9yo son. He has few pair of trousers and jeans from h&m in this size and they slightly longer but great fit. This one however turned out to be too short! Yes too short. Had to return. So my advice is go bigger size.

My son loves H&M jeans, soft comfy & feels relaxed in them. Bought a 14+ I believe they do come up small as my son is just turning 12 & he's slim. We tried in store first, due to myself wanting to make a big holiday order online

bought the grey version of this exact same jeans and the sizing is unbelievably different. one fits like loose fit jeans and are so long but the other in colour in same size fits perfectly nice and slim fit and good length

Not too skinny, but a nice slim fit. The rips have a patch behind to stop them tearing too big, which is a bonus. Waist adjusters are perfect for a slim waist. My son is really happy with them.

I was impressed with this purchase it had adjustable waist so the fitting was on point and it is very fashionable and no one would have guess it was a H&M own brand.Well done H&M

Excellent jeans, maybe a bit big for my son at the moment but hopefully he’ll grow into them in no time. Lovely quality and length. Adjustable waist, always needed.

My son is on the skinny side and these were too big for him. The waist especially was way too big for him. Otherwise they would have been lovely jeans.
