I wanted these for outdoor exercise on cold days and I think they will be ok for that. However they are quite an odd fit and not really as described. I am 5'3" and normally wear size 8-10, I ordered size S. They were a really tight fit and I could easily have gone up a size. They are barely ankle length on me and would appear cropped on anyone taller. I also would not describe them as high waisted.

I found that the rise of the leggings sits significantly below the natural waistline, resulting in a low-profile fit at the hips. Furthermore, the absence of a waist tie or elastic reinforcement impacts the overall security and stay-up ability of the leggings. It was for me thus not a good fit.

These warm sport leggings in my experience have a distinctly low-rise fit rather than the advertised high-waisted cut. Additionally, the waistband lacks an internal drawstring or compression elements to ensure the leggings stay in place during movement.

These are described as high waisted and long length but they're more like 7/8 length and sit below the belly button so definitely not high waisted! Ordered size S as I take a size 8 usually. On the plus side they're very thick and warm.

To get a good fit overall is was necessary to size up (compared to normal leggings) and accept a loose waist. They do seem to take the edge off cold air as intended.
