Cigarette trousers

Nice basic trousers. These are a similar style to what I've had before but they're hit and miss. I got these hoping they were similar to the stock prior to last year (last years were a strange fit) and they were. They're nice basic trousers for work. Good colour and go with white/black tees and trainers. I sized up as I had to on the last pairs and reviews said the same (I'm usually a 12 but got 14 and they fit snug). More cropped on me but I'm used to this as I'm nearly 6ft. Wash and wear well and pleased to get them at a reduced price.

These are gorgeous and surprisingly for me a really good fit. I’m 5’1 and a lot of the time trousers are way too long, but they aren’t bad at all. They have enough room for my quads (which are quite big also) and the waistband is quite thick and elasticated. Very comfy - just the sort of thing I was after! (Note I’ve put in my rating true to size, in this case, for me they are)

Awful! Thin, poor quality, cheap colour and just generally a bad fit. I have these trousers in black, the same size, and they are completely different. I am a 14 but always size up to 16 in H&M. These were baggy on the back of the waist, awfully tight around the thighs, and just generally were unflattering. The matching jacket wasn't any better in quality. Returning both.

Since the size changes I have been buying size 10 trousers but these were a little loose on the legs and waist so I bought a size 8 (waiting on the delivery) to see how will they fit and hopefully they won't be long either because I am short, but quality wise they are good and look very smart without costing the earth This rating is based on me being short 5' and slim

Lovely trousers. And a nice length too. They sit just above my ankle (I'm just over 5'7"). I knocked a star off because of the sizing - the usual poor show from H&M when it comes to tailored trousers - size up at least once, maybe twice. I'm an 18 - 20 in trousers everywhere else, but I'm in a 22 in these. Tbh they're still a bit on the tight side at the pockets.

These trousers run very very small. After reading the reviews I sized up - I usually take a UK 14 so I bought a 16 and they are still tiny around my waist. Even with the elastic back they won't close. I would recommend sizing up 2 sizes if you're anyway curvy around the stomach area. I'm pretty disappointed that they don't fit because they are gorgeous trousers!

I bought them in thinking even before they arrived they would be returned because of the quality , fit and at such a cheap price … Imagine my surprise when they fitted as well as a pair of high end priced black trousers and the quality of material is not bad . I’ve wore them twice now to mark my condolences to the Queen . Well done H&M . Definitely worth 5 Stars

These fit so comfortably and are slightly loose down the leg. I hate those cigarette trousers that fit like skinny fit, these don't, they're tapered but loose and comfy. However, H&M do sell ones that are skinny fit (not a fan). Belly is 48 inch at the largest part and this size 22 fits. If you're a lot bigger it may not. If you're smaller in inches size down.

I'm a size 12 in trousers and this was perfect in 14. The length is perfect for me, just below ankles. Comfortable fit. I have this in the dark green and after one wear there was bobbling at the crotch unfortunately so I'm expecting this to be the same. However it's ok to wear to work on the days i need to go in person so will not be worn excessively.

I have these cigarette trousers in every colour as they're comfortable and smart for work. Two criticisms The pockets are skimpy and for those of us with hips it can make them pull where a more generous pocket wouldn't. The sizing!! I wear a Size 16 in these (and they're still on the snug side at the hips as above), I'm a size 12 in reality.
