High-waisted tailored trousers

These are absolutely gorgeous trousers. The material, the colour, the shape. But I'm gutted because they are just too short on me. I didn't want to send them back at all as they were so nice and was genuinely upset about returning! Please, please, please can H&M do leg lengths up to 36"? It states the model is 5'11. She's wearing the trousers low slung, I'm only an inch taller than her and they're still short even wearing them low. If you're going to use models that are as tall as this, why not increase the leg lengths? I would've happily bought so many of these had they been 2 inches longer 😢

I love a high, elasticated waist. I love a relaxed fit with diagonal side pockets. I love wide legs. I love pleats at the top and creases down the front. I like the thickness of the material. I don't like the composition of material - I would prefer a mix of cotton, linen, and viscose, with only a small amount of polyester if needed. The amount of elastane is correct. I hate that they are short. I bought them in L and XL. The website pictures show different colors touching the floor, but I'm 5'10", and for me, both sizes were ankle length.

Excellent fit & quality for the price. The cut skims over the thighs & hips and is extremely flattering and lengthening. Each trouser colour is a different fabric and weight, have two other pairs in grey and black - all are suitable for work or look great with trainers - but some are warmer than others. Very comfortable to wear all day and wash well. At 5"2, these are 2 inches too long (previous pair bought a year ago was perfect length), but got them tailored down. Definitely worth buying if you like the high waist wide leg look.

I didn't review these straight away… Why? Because they were sooo good I needed another pair. Now I've safely secured myself the 2nd pair I can safely say these are my favourite trousers EVER! They are a little snug around the waist band but the leg width and length is perfect. The material is beautiful, I can't quite decide if it's more jogger or trouser but it's heavy weight so sits beautifully. Can be dressed up or down. Amazing value. My advice is buy more than one at a time as they are always out of stock!!

These are perfect! I got these as they were on a member offer and I wanted and easy throw on pair of trousers for work as I'm fed up with wearing jeans. These are a nice heavy fabric and good size pockets. I'm tall and they're long enough for me to wear a small heel or trainers. They'll be perfect for spring and I'm glad I managed to get another colour In my size. I'm a size 12 but usually have to get 14 in H&M and the medium are perfect. The elasticated waist is great for comfort.

I don't normally write reviews but thought these needed a mention. These are really lovely, smart but casual and I can get away with these for work bonus ! I am a size 12 and purchase M and they fit me perfectly. I 5"7 and the length also perfect. I have 2 white dogs and hate buying black clothes for the fear of being a hair magnet but these trousers are the material that hair does not stick to at all, so overall I am really chuffed with this product and would highly recommend :)

Bought these after searching for that staple pair of black trousers I could dress up or down, read the reviews as some sizing on here can be a bit off, bought the XL I wear a size 16/18 on the bottom, I have a booty and a good set of hips, these fit me perfectly, I'm 5"7 for height and they are the perfect length, high waisted and fit lovely round the bum, not clingy on the hips and soft material with stretch, best fitting pair of trousers I've found for a long time

Really love the fit and look of these. They fall nicely when worn. The material is quite thick and they've washed really well without any need to iron them, which is an added bonus in my opinion. They have pockets which I like. I had a compliment at work when I wore these. I like the sewn in seam at the front. They are a nice length which is difficult for me to find. I'm 5ft 7 and like a longer length. I like the large flare at the bottom. Would recommend.

I bought these trousers as I was fed up with the zipper looking weird on my previous trousers and also having to wear a belt. The elastic in these trousers saves my day. The outside material is definitely interesting but inside its very comfortable. They r very high waisted. And it rained the other day and these dried down fairly easy. The only downside is that it's a bit thin so did not keep me very warm, my legs were freezing but that's fine.
