Originally, the Aphelandra Botanica comes from the subtropical areas from America. It is also called the Zebra plant because its remarkable leaves have a dark green colour with white stripes. The plant is most often kept for its leaves; however, the plant can also flower noticeably. Then, the Aphelandra grows yellow flowers that look like the flowers of a Bromelia. The Aphelandra likes a lot of warmth. Bright light without direct sunlight during summertime is preferred. The plant is delivered in a inner-pot with a diameter of 13 cm. Decorative pot not included.
