Although it's recommended to size down, the right size (5T) or one smaller size (4T) for my 4 years old had been sold out when she wanted this costume. By expecting the need of the size alteration, I dared to buy her one bigger size (6X). The hat doesn't seem to need a size alteration. I'm going to hand-adjust the sizing of the rest (lengths of the sleeves, the torso, the legs) with a sewing needle and threads. One thing, for sure, is that she can enjoy this costume as long as she is still interested in Paw Patrol, up to 7-8 years old. :) Perhaps this will be her Halloween costume this year.
