Tie-belt shirt dress

I bought this dress hoping it would be suitable for a wedding reception. I'm so pleased with it! I'm a size 10 but I hate anything that's close around the tummy/thigh area because I don't like mine. This nips me in at the waist and falls lovely. So floaty and feminine. The sleeves are elbow length but slightly fluted so very flattering. The material is thin but not see through. The only thing is that the elasticated waist falls below my waist but this isn't a major problem. Such a steal for the price and would easily be dressed down too. I'm 5 ft4 and it is longer on me but not touching the floor.

As people have already pointed out, the sizing is a lot smaller than it has been in years prior, and unfortunately the quality is sadly lacking also. After it accidentally snuck into the tumble drier, my dress has already faded horribly, - the equivalent dress from two years ago is still black and still looks in better condition than this. It does say not to tumble dry, but I have tumble dried the dress from two years ago on a couple of occasions and it has been fine. Not the case with this one. Will not be purchasing again, and would advise you save your money.

Such a beautiful dress and incredibly flattering on. I am 5'7" and it just about grazes my ankles so not quite a maxi dress. The fabric is lovely and soft so it flows beautifully over lumps and bumps. I haven't worn it out yet as I bought it for a daytime celebration event later this month, but it is hanging in my closet tempting me to put it on!! I think it will be cool to wear in the heat, so it will be packed for my summer holiday too.

For lovers of the previous year's versions of this tie belt shirt dress, this year's tie belt dresses are easily a size smaller (have tried all of the patterned ones, but not the plan). This blue colour way, is a size smaller again and was pulling at the chest buttons where the other two didn't, and where last year's bag slightly. Such a shame that H&M seem to have taken a step back from the last few year's of consistency size wise.

Beautiful dress. The photo doesn't do it justice..Smooth viscose fabric which washes and irons well . The fit is a tad smaller than than last years version but for a.size 18 dress size.and 38dd bust, I ordered the XL. Fits nicely.. The print is ivory with cornflower blue flowers with navy leaves. Feminine and.dainty style. Length halfway down calf on 5ft 7 height. Would like to see this dress in a pink version.

I own several of these dresses, although I found this one a bit less flattering. In the image it looks like beige with a black pattern, but it is actually green, which was a bit unexpected--fortunately, I like green. I felt that this particular dress fit a bit smaller than the others I own. As with the others, the fabric is rather cheap rayon--good professional summer dress, but not good quality

Always look forward to the new version of this dress every year, but I'm glad I read the reviews before purchasing. I'm a 16/18 and 5ft 9 and have always ordered a XL but had to go up a size to fit across my chest. Problem is it's a little big for me in other areas. But it's still a lovely dress and I will wear it all summer. Just wish they would do the version from a couple of years ago again!

The sizing is totally off with these dresses! I'm normally a size L so I ordered that and the XL because some comments said it runs small. The XL was way too big but the size L was tiny - literally half the size of the XL. The quality isn't great either, loose threads hanging all over the garment. I like the print but had to sent both dresses back unfortunately because neither fitted.

The dress is nice, however the size is so off. I went up a size after reading the reviews, but even that was a bit tighter than I'd like. I'm usually an XL, but have ended up having to order a XXXL. In previous years I have always ordered this style in my usual size, so I don't know why they've made them so small this year. Really disappointed with that. Otherwise the print is nice.
