Off-the-shoulder poplin dress

Such a beautiful print, you could easily dress this up for an event or keep it casual. The material is perfect, it's a poplin cotton and viscose blend which means it is fully breathable and cool to wear. The blend means that it has the structure and crispness of poplin cotton (like top quality bedding, or formal shirt) whilst the viscose element keeps it moving and flowing. It's a really well made dress with a flattering cut, the smocked aspect finishes in the right place to create a waist (even if like me, you have a mum tum) I'm usually a 10/12 and bought a medium which fits great without stretching the smocking too much. (A small also fit well and looked nice but for me the smocking felt a little constricting.) I'm super happy with this dress. I also bought two shorter off shoulder dresses which I'm also happy with.

This dress is one of two in this design sold on the website. The other one has a lovely pattern, but I also went for this one as it was greatly reduced. The pattern is ok, but the dress is see through. You can see my legs quite clearly through the material. As it is intended to be worn in the warmer months, I won't be putting a long vest or cardigan over it. I will sadly have to return it. I'm glad I bought the other one, as it doesn't have this problem, and looks more expensive.

I ordered two of these little dresses for choice but ended up keeping both. Photo doesn`t show the dress enough. The print is so pretty, a clean cream background with little true red small flowers . So feminine. It reminds me of period drama summer dresses how it nips in under the bust and hangs pretty with the added cute sleeves. Ideal for a summer casual dress with sandals.The fabric does soften after washing. The size L surprisingly fitted my body size of 16/18 with a DD bust.

Very cute pretty summer dress in a heavier fabric which is still cool to wear. Reviewers are stating the fabric is stiff and crinkly. All items of clothing have a fabric starch in them to make them presentable. After washing the dress softens. The size L fitted in a way that the bust area wasn`t stretched and it nipped in under the bust to the waist area. I am a size 16/18 body size with a DD bust. I like the choice of sleeves on or off the shoulder.

Beautiful dress! I agree with other comments that there's a certain "waxiness" to the fabric, but I kind of like this. It makes the dress just a tad more rigid which hides imperfections in my opinion. I usually wear XXL and it fits well. I could have gotten XL in this one. You could get away with regular bra but it would look best with strapless. Love the colors.

Very pretty. I saw a review mention the material and how it makes noise, and while I understand this, it's now as exaggerated and doesn't make noise when on. I'm also currently 5 months pregnant and the elastics make it perfect for the summer as I get bigger. I'm 5'3 and the dress stopped right past my calves. I got my usual size M.

This is a beautiful dress. The material makes it look like it came from a boutique, and cost a lot more. The quality is also very good. The material doesn't feel 'cloth' like as has been mentioned in other reviews, but it's not 'plasticy'. I am also able to push the sleeves up, and wear them with them in the usual position.

Another reviewer said the fabric was odd, almost waxy, which I didn't understand until I felt it. It's definitely a bit different and louder than most fabrics. I think it would probably soften if you washed it and not be quite so loud. I ended up returning it because I just didn't love the way it looked on me.

I ordered an XXL because that's what I wear everywhere, but this is very big in the chest area and I have a big chest and have the build of a football player. I would say it's more of a 3X to 4X. The length is good but I'm 5'9. I would include a pic but there isn't that option.

The dress is super cute and the medium is a perfect size for me. I think this dress is meant for a younger person, however I am still enjoying it! Nice seams and tailoring and fits very well. Length is good as I am a tall person and length is always a challenge for me.
