I'm normally 38.5/39 5.5/6 and these fit perfectly. Not worn yet other than tried on and in the house to see whether I was going to keep them or not. Don't look big and boat-like, the soles got a little bit of height so look fine with a dress/skirt. Not leather but you wouldn't think by looking at them. They'd look super in the burgundy, I chose black as they're for work
