TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to H&M Gift Cards purchased via our business partner SVS UK Limited in any of our H&M stores, H&M Home stores or on hm.com ('H&M Gift Card' or 'H&M e-Gift Card', jointly 'H&M Gift Cards') and to our H&M Merchandise Cards ('H&M Merchandise Card' or 'H&M e-Merchandise Card' jointly 'H&M Merchandise Cards'). By purchasing H&M Gift Cards, or using the H&M Merchandise Cards, you accept these terms and conditions ('Terms and Conditions'). H&M reserves the right to interpret, modify, or terminate the Terms and Conditions without notice. The most recent Terms and Conditions will always be posted at hm.com.
H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise Cards may be used in H&M stores, H&M Home stores and online at hm.com in the country where the card was bought or where the H&M Merchandise Card was issued. You can use the H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise Cards to pay for the full value or part of the value of your selected item(s). If your purchase online is not completely covered by H&M Gift Cards or H&M Merchandise Cards you can use an additional payment method to complete the purchase. Please read more in the Payment section at hm.com. The receipt will always show the current balance of the H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise cards used in the transaction. In addition, you can always check your current balance online at hm.com, in a H&M or H&M Home store or by contacting Customer Service.
2. Payment
If you order your H&M Gift Cards online, your order and payment will be processed and dispatched by SVS UK Limited, however your credit/debit card statement will show H&M.com Gift Card Purchase.
SVS only accepts credit cards as payment for H&M Gift Cards. You need to be 18 years or older, in order to pay with a credit card.
3. Delivery
We aim to deliver the H&M Gift Card within 3 working days from date of order. H&M will not be liable for any failure or delay in delivery. If you purchase a H&M e-Gift Card it will be sent to the chosen recipient's email address immediately after the purchase is complete.
You are obligated to provide a correct address for delivery of the H&M Gift Card. If you order a H&M e-Gift Card you are obligated to provide a correct email address for delivery. If the address you have provided cannot be confirmed H&M reserves the right to withhold the delivery of the H&M Gift Cards.
4. Validity
Each online purchase of H&M Gift Cards is limited to a maximum value of £250. The online minimum value for H&M Gift Cards is £15. Please note that H&M stores and H&M Home stores may apply different values than online. You can increase the balance of your physical H&M Gift Card by purchase of additional credit in any H&M store or H&M Home store in the country where the card was bought.
H&M Gift Cards are valid for 2 years from the date of the last activation or purchase. At the expiry of the validity period, the H&M Gift Cards cannot be used for purchase, reactivated nor can the unused remaining value be refunded.
The H&M Gift Cards can be used until the balance of the card is zero. If the balance of the card is zero for three months, the H&M Gift Card is invalid and cannot be activated or used again.
H&M Merchandise Cards are valid for 2 years from the date of the last activation or purchase. At the expiry of the validity period, the H&M Merchandise Cards cannot be used for purchase nor can the unused remaining value be refunded.
The H&M Merchandise Cards can be used until the balance of the card is zero. If the balance of the card reaches zero, the H&M Merchandise Card is invalid and cannot be activated or used again.
5. Return
If you paid for your order with two different payment methods, you'll receive a refund on your second payment method first. For example, if you paid for your order with gift card and credit card, we will first refund you on the credit card. If the value of articles you returned exceed the amount paid with credit card, the rest will be refunded in the form of e-gift card. Read more here.
The H&M e-Merchandise Card will be sent to you by email when the return is complete. If you return items purchased online to one of our H&M Stores, you will be refunded in the same way as if you had returned the items using our online return process, as long as the return is made within the 28-day return period. Please read more here.
For any returns made after the expiry of the return period of 28 (twenty-eight) days, we reserve the right to refund you via a e-Merchandise Card.
6. Returns Guarantee
You have a 28 days return period (beginning the day after delivery of your order) to cancel your order of H&M Gift Cards purchased online and receive a full refund, including the standard delivery costs, but excluding the cost of returning the card if such costs has been generated.

7. Limited Liability
H&M cannot be held liable for H&M Gift Cards or H&M Merchandise Cards once activated, which subsequently are lost, stolen, inactivated or damaged. Treat your H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise Cards as cash.
8. Privacy Policy
H&M Hennes & Mauritz GBC AB, is acting as the party responsible for all personal data that you provide H&M with. H&M therefore has a Privacy Policy outlining how your personal data will be processed and protected. You will find our Privacy Policy in full here.
