Cotton velvet cushion cover

These cushion covers are awful! They genuinely look terrible. They collect so much dust and lint. You shouldn't have to clean your pillows every single day, sometimes twice a day. They look as though they've been in my home for 5-10 years. The velvet material is very poor quality. They are more rough than expected and they are not soft and velvety as the product description and pictures would have you believe. Do not purchase unless you plan on throwing these cushion covers out within a couple of months.

Perfect. Well sewn too, with good seams that may coax your already purchased inner feather cushion not, to seep feather(s) out of this cushion cover. Feels like and looks like a decent quality cotton velvet fabric which means it is superior to a polyester in every aspect and zip being placed in seam ensures that both sides are free from a zip in the cushion face itself.

The velvet quality is not great but it looks good in relation to the price. As other reviewers have mentioned though, the colour is darker and duller than the one in the photo, more like an ochre than a mustard kind of yellow. I kept them because they looked good in a different room but didn't look great in the spot I originally bought them for.

Lovely cushion covers very good quality and value - true to the colour on line. I bought two in dark red velvet and they were so nice I ordered two more to cheer up my sitting room for Christmas. The velvet was slightly creased when unpacked but soon dropped out. They look far more expensive than they were!

I bought two of these - one in a deep red and one in golden brown. Both have slight faults and I've already returned them once and got new faults on the replacements. It seems if you get what you pay for. But they do fit a 50 x 50 cushion well. In the future I'll spend more and get better quality.

Pretty great - not as plush as other velvet covers I've found, but at £6.99 for 100% cotton and machine washable, they're excellent value for money. I bought duck feather cushions (from another shop) that were a little larger (55x55cm), which really fill out the 50x50cm covers beautifully.

Love love love the colour of these! I was a little scared that they wouldn’t be as nice as they look on the picture but they are beautiful and great quality. Only thing I’d say is, don’t pair with any other cushion that is fluffy or have any texture. This material picks up lint easily.

Fab! Bring a touch of Spring to my sofa! Excellent choices of colour, great quality, very very pleased to be able to buy just the cover rather than with the feather inners that I already have plenty of. Would even consider buying the same style in a different colour at a later date.

Such good quality velvet for the price. It doesn’t look cheap like some velvet can. Also, it has velvet front and back … some other suppliers sell velvet covers with only the front in velvet and a cheaper fabric on the back AND they’re much more expensive! Very pleased!

Lovely quality at a great price. The pistachio green covers are in a lovely subtle green colour & have a nice soft feel. These look great when teamed with the matching cushion inners. H&M have a great selection of cushions at very reasonable prices. Well done H&M!
