Although the box is very pretty to look at and the leaf design handle is really nicely done. The item is a lovely decorative piece to put anywhere, until you want to lift off or put back the lid, the edge of the lid is very "tin like" and gives that cringe feeling when tin hits tin or scrapes tin, hope that is a good enough description. If that sound doesn't affect you, it's a lovely piece!
