This large one I put my teabags in and it's perfect size. Bought the smaller one for my sugar. The large one doesn't have as smooth a black finish as the smaller one and almost looks a bit lumpy. From a distance is fine and I just turn it around to which bit suits me but for the price and style they are great . Not airtight but you don't need it to be for teabags .
