The skirt looks beautiful and the design is elegant, which is why I wanted to love it. Unfortunately, the fabric is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever worn. I'm not referring to the usual itchiness of linen or wool. The embroidered eyelets seem to be finished with a very stiff thread that feels almost like fishing line or thin metal wire. It constantly rubs and scratches against the skin, making it extremely uncomfortable to wear. It honestly feels like sandpaper covered with tiny blades. Wearing tights underneath isn't a solution either, as the embroidery catches and damages them almost immediately. It's such a disappointment because the design is gorgeous, but the fabric makes the skirt practically unwearable. I can't understand how this material passed the wear test.
