I recently ordered these in blue for my son who is 9 and almost 5' tall. I had previously ordered this exact same pair in black back in May. The blue pair is significantly longer & stretcher than the black pair, i would say the blue pair is at least 2-3 inches longer than the black, for me tbis really isnt an issue because he will be able to wear them for a while before he gets to tall for them, but if your child is much shorter I would keep this in mind. I also notice the waist is wider as well. With the black pair I did have to tighten then quite a bit but it wasn't bad, this pair is about an inch in total wider than the black pair in the waist.
