The flip- sequin detail was a big hit with my soon to be 8 year old. The shirt seems to run both big and long. I should’ve sized down in this. One thing that is a bit odd with the shirt, is that it’s square and wide in the top half, while the bottom is slim. It’s almost shaped like a dress! I hand washed the shirt and tried to shape it, but it’s still pretty obvious that the top of the shirt is wider than the bottom. I might purchase another shirt in a smaller size, and hope that one has a better fit.
