I’m a 14/16 on the bottom and run between a large and an XL. I ordered these in a large and they fit perfectly but they’re definitely not loose. I’m also going to order them in an XL so that I have a couple different sizes for my hiking and camping trips Because I think the bigger size is a little longer and a little looser and nice for hiking in the hot summer, but these are some quality shorts. I definitely would recommend.

Love these shorts!! I’m a 14/16 on the bottom and first ordered a size large. Even though they fit, they restricted my movement a little bit, so I also ordered them in an XL and I love them both. They both fit me very differently and I use them for different outdoor activities I would say they fit true to size

They run pretty wide but are good quality and will be great for hikes in any weather. Nice snaps on the pockets and adjustable waistline that doesn't feel restrictive. I have wider hips and still had ample room. These look pretty short online but I found the cut to be very modest.

Loose-fit, lightweight outdoor shorts in wind-resistant, water-repellent functional fabric designed for light showers and protection from wind. Waistband with smocked elastic and an elastic drawstring with cord stopper. Side pockets with snap fastener and an additional, discreet side pocket with zipper. Webbing loop at front for attaching a carabiner hook. Slit at side of hems for ease of movement.
