Not a huge fan of synthetic materials, as with any, these pants keep in the body heat, but they are huge and airy enough to let in a draft which helps. They are not very flattering shape from the side for larger women - especially with the overhang flap that easily sticks out in the wind, but they look great from the front. In terms of comfort, other than the fact that they are synthetic which diminishes the comfort rating, they're loose and comfy enough to lounge in. I would recommend a longer top to compensate for the over bubbling of the waist.
