This is a JACKET & should run bigger, unlike some of the reviews! The material is a dark, dark blue twill. There are tons of buttons on this jacket down the front. I had difficulty fastening the buttons. I'm hoping one of the buttons doesn't come off as the buttons give it such personality. Perfect weight for Texas winters. This jacket can be worn during the Fall, Winter, & Spring. It goes with so many items in my closet. Because it is a bit larger than my tops, I can easily wear it over other tops or sweaters during the Winter. I would NOT wear it by itself as it is jacket & a little bigger in overall size.
