These sweatshirts are a great bang for your buck. They’re also an amazing fit for broad/athletic builds. I usually wear a size large for tops, but H&M’s “relaxed” fit allows me to wear a size medium that fits a lot better than a typical size large. That being said, I’ve owned a couple of these sweatshirts before and these are a little different than the older ones because they’ve changed the fabric blend to have much more cotton, no polyester, and a small amount of viscose. While they’re marginally more comfortable with this new blend, I’m a little weary about how the 3% viscose blend will hold up in the drier. The care instructions claim that they shouldn’t be machine dried, which is a kind of annoying for a $12 sweatshirt. I reckon I’m going to roll the dice and put them in the drier because I seriously doubt that a 3% viscose blend will shrink to the point of being too small. It’s just a little odd that they would change the blend to involve a sensitive material like viscose.
